Chemisorptive activated carbon
If the physical-adsorptive binding forces are not sufficient to enable an economical loading capacity, we treat the activated carbons customer-specifically in order to enable the best possible loading = filter life time in the following areas of application:
- Removal of acid gases, hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide or nitrogen oxides
- Advanced activated carbons where unknown toxic gases might be present (including acid gases, alkali gases, low boiling point mercaptans, inorganic acids, hydrocarbons,…)
- Removal of formaldehyde
- Air quality protection of musea and similar storage facilities
- Removal of alkaline gases, ammonia and amines
- Preparation of an antibacterial surface
- Decaffeination
- Flue gas cleaning
- Mercury adsorption
